Minute Book 1885

Formed early 1885

Sadly, this Minute Book has been damaged.  Throughout the book, eleven signatures have been cut out leaving gaps in the text.  

There is a page of signatures (17 in all) in the publication  IRISH WOLFHOUND PEDIGREES 1859-1906 by Capt G A Graham.   Perhaps this is the explanation.   Whatever the reason, it was a regrettable act.

Irish Wolfhound Club
 Letter  Book  1897 - 1901

Copies of letters bound in hard-covered notebook written on very flimsy, translucent paper. The content is mainly re IWC membership and with show secretaries requesting extra classification, often offering money prizes or specials for additional Irish Wolfhound classes.  Many are difficult to read.  A few  examples are reproduced here.  The letter book includes a typed carbon copy of the Irish Wolfhound Annual Report 1900.  This  is reproduced as are the three pedigrees included with the letters.
